I found fitness as a child. At an early age, I remember my mom instilling being active, whether through sport, or through a follow-along workout to one of Billy Blanks Tae Bo workouts. I very quickly learned and felt the positive mental and physical effects of my body moving through exercise.
Over the years, fitness has continued to be a part of my life, but it wasn’t until after completing my undergraduate studies in 2018 that I truly appreciated fitness for what it was. Upon completion, I quickly re-prioritized my health and fitness journey and found a new-found love for moving my body through strength and resistance training. At the time, I worked in corporate banking and found myself with this insatiable desire to get the day over with, only to start the next morning at the gym and resistance train. Before I knew it, I found myself lifting for hours in my free time and found this growing hunger to continue to learn more about health, fitness and wellness.
